Yusufer (as his friends like to call him) sounds can be described as Ominous, Chunky, Dynamic and organically soulful. Yusuf’s music can be enjoyed just as much on the home stereo as well as in any club. His sound achieves positive resonance and an ever-evolving live act. Preserving a nonconformist attitude, combined with emotional content of his music, elucidates how Yusuf keeps his listeners audibly caged. Achieving the right sounds rather than constricting with the modern day sub division of so called “genres”.
