I think that the sequencer of Korg Volca Drum is the best of the Volca serie, but have a big limitation: the pattern lenght! Of course you can chain different patterns but this exclude the use of mute and other functions. I seen a lot of videos with ambient sequences mad a really slow tempo so i tried to double the lenght of the patterns setting 70 bpm (instead of 140) and got 16th notes using the "slice" function on bpth drums and synths. I also added a digital multi FX (the Zoom B1on) with a custom chain with compressor, a little of distortion, an EQ and at the end a Plate Reverb. The sound it's more dirty and deep with a presence ideal for live performances. Enjoy!

This was a special one. My first 2-hour live act, packed with new tracks, enhanced by new gear, and powered by a completely refreshed setup with additional FX that took the sound to another level. The crowd response was absolutely insane - thank you all for that incredible energy! Big thanks to fellow artists for all the love and props afterwards - it means the world! 

The set features several brand new, never-before-played tracks alongside fresh versions of familiar tunes. From deep, groovy warmup to peak-time bangers - this one has it all. Special thanks to Under The Vibe crew for having me and whole SCHRON family for the fabulous experience!

RAW Underground Techno modularsynth dawless live jam session

“Kind” is the first jam I recorded on my new synthesizer: the Solar 42F from Elta Music. I named the track “Kind” because this instrument has many buttons, switches and lights that let the child in me play and go on a journey of discovery. 

Of course I use an Arabic scale in this first jam :D If you know my music, you also know my preference for Middle East influences. After my first attempts, I was glad that I got the 24 oscillators more or less in tune with each other - I think that was my biggest difficulty.

I'm excited about where the journey is going every time I press the play button and let myself be guided by the field of unlimited possibilities. Why have something "perfect overproduced" as a goal when you can also do it raw from heart.....

raw from heart #12 - dawless techno jam

Hi guys,

after months of pure ambient production, it was the time to finally put together the Solar 42F with my favorite Groovebox, the Analog Rytm MKII and create a piece in my favorite music style. The video is some exclusive preview and not up on Youtube yet. 

"Zwei" is a Dubtechno jam in which I excercise with the light sensors of the Solar to create slide effects with my hand and support the Track coming from the Analog Rytm. I think this could be a direction for the upcoming shows: Having the Analog Rytm playing the base of a track and putting the Solar on Top makes it easier to adjust the pitches while playing the show.

Zwei

"Here and Now" is the title of my upcoming performance. I decided to keep the setup minimalistic and I will play it only with the Solar 42F, the Cosmos from Soma and the BigSky from Strymon.  In this jam, I focussed on the internal contact mic that makes the housing of the Synth a fantastic drum tool for some live elements.
