Dawn 2025

The sound begins in the darkness of an intense and turbulent night. Strong thunderstorms tear across the sky, while heavy rain falls, accompanied by deep gusts of wind. In the background, the solitary hoot of an owl and the distant echo of a wolf can be heard, reinforcing the atmosphere of mystery and unease.

Gradually, the storm loses intensity, as if nature were taking a deep breath after the chaos. The nocturnal sounds fade, giving way to a lighter atmosphere.

Then, the first signs of dawn appear. A gentle stream begins to fill the environment, the wind becomes soft and calm, followed by the crowing of a rooster announcing the arrival of a new day and the delicate singing of birds awakening.

In this way, the sound ends with a feeling of rebirth and tranquility, marking the transition from a dark and turbulent night to the calm brightness of sunrise.

Un titre engagé pour une nouvelle aube musicale.
Dans "New Dawn", Mylène Chamblain explore les dualités qui traversent la vie des musiciens d’aujourd’hui : avancer sans filet dans une industrie dominée par les plateformes, défendre l’authenticité face à l’uniformisation algorithmique, préserver le vivant à l’heure de la dématérialisation, continuer malgré la chute, le doute, la solitude.
Dès les premières lignes — “Bare feet on the wire” — l’image est posée : celle d’une artiste en équilibre fragile, mais déterminée.

The soft sunrise after the holiday—an acoustic duet to close the season in peace.

This is my first ever recorded set It is the start of a series of intentional recordings with a similar vibe. Other volumes with different energies to come (Stealing The Moon Vol .1 😉). This is a raw recording taken directly off of the soundboard with no post production editing. I had no prior knowledge of tracks used in this mix. Recorded at The ShipShape Lounge in Bellingham Washington on November 18th, 2025. Special thanks to my mentor and friend, Soggy. Ph: 174962319486.

Stealing the Sun Vol. 1

Fatin was keen on playing outdoor and I thought recording another morning chorus track, this time in Singapore, would be perfect. We met at 4:30 at Fort Canning Park and found a spot at the top of the park in a flat area with tall trees.

Fatin plays metal bowls she bought from Bishal and her style is slow and highly improvised. She has an interior design background so I felt that she would be up for experimentation to try some ideas and concepts during the recordings. We would discuss some ideas before each recording and she would execute them improvising with the bowls. I thought it resulted in a pretty cool three-part composition.

Movement
For this recording, we experimented with using the bowls in the space. Fatin would walk around the microphone at varying distances playing the bowl in her hand, playing with depth and movement, creating a dynamic sound experience. Each sound seemed alive.

Dawn in bushland near the inland edge of the Kurangk/Coorong lagoon. On the far side of the lagoon, towering dunes half-draped with tough green bushes seclude and protect the lagoon from the ever-audible roaring ocean. Skimming above the ocean, a storm intermittently spears the waves with lightning, and rolls its thunder inland, towards the dawning bushland.

Recorded respectfully in the country of the Ngarrindjeri peoples (and, specifically, the land of the Lungundi and the Kaikalabindjeri clans).

Born and raised in Montreal, Hurakkan's journey into Rave music began at the tender age of 5, courtesy of his mother's eclectic taste in beats. Author, composer and performer, Mylène Chamblain is a French~Belgian Blues-Rock, Country & Americana Music artist supported by the National Rock Radio Station RBTF Classic 21 which has programmed her in 2023 as the opening act of the 2nd Festival Classic 21, with Ghalia Volt, Boogie Beasts, Sharko and K'S Choice as headliners. 
Also supported by Belgian and American artists such as BJ Scott (USA, BE), The Memphis P. Tails (USA), AWEK (F) and many other French ans belgian artists (Like the band Plain Jane  for whom Mylène has already written and composed many songe broadcasted in the National Radio), she began her career in Toulouse in 2004 before flying to the USA (tour in Albuquerque in 2002) and settling in Belgium in 2005, where she has lived ever since.
