As a child (and to this day), the Star Wars Triology has fascinated me because of its richness in characters and the way it's been told throughout the years in different movies.
Luke Blew Up The Death Star is my homage to the first movie (episode 4), A New Hope! I was 10 years old the first time I saw it and it completely changed my life, not only because of the story and the effects but because the idea, that there might actually be something greater out there that we don't understand. I'm talking, of course, about the force that Luke becomes familiar with and learns about with Yoda as his teacher!

I saw this movie at a friend's house and when I left, I was so convinced I owned the force myself that I tried to lift cars parked on the street with my concentration skills that I had just adopted! Well it didn't work the first 600 times I tried but I was still not done with my fashionation for Star Wars that I, at the age of 11 wrote the lyrics for the song in question and recorded it on a BASF-tape and completely forgot about It for 30 years or so.
That, until one day when I was cleaning out my cellar and found an old shoebox filled with tapes, many of them wouldn't play because the had been in the box without cover, but one BASF-TAPE would play and on it I had written "own songs" .
So I took a listen and realized just how hooked I had been on the saga some 30 years earlier!

of course, there where no music to my singing, only me at 11 singing this lyric about the first movie I had come up with, so I wrote it down incase the tape wouldn't play again and put some music to it and vola!!! Here we are!!

Now, I have only used effects that were around in the 70s, no modern pedals at all, and that took some time to figure out! You have to use more channels in order to get a big sound out of the recording, and they have to sound different in order to grow and broaden the recording enough to not sound flat and boring!

So that was quite a challenge, but I think I solved it in the end.

so I hope you enjoy this indierock track with very old effects and with a lyric written by me at eleven! music is music regardless of the age, and that's the fun of it all!!

The Underclass Academy is multi-artist Hans Gustavsson's way of describing his own and others' existence in text and tones. After striving for most of his adult life not to feel alienated, 

Hans turned his perspective and instead embraced what had previously been an enemy and adversary in existence. As a result, his texts are not infrequently written from a socially critical perspective and with a focus on the tribulations and failures of the little person. 

But also those who steal, exploit and rule only for the purpose of self-improvement without any consideration of what kind of impact it leaves on others in their vicinity. As a musician, he continues to create a mixture of singersongwriter/rock with a variety of influences seasoned with impressions and different perspectives. 

Over the years, Hans Gustavsson has appeared on several published recordings, both as a band member and also as a solo artist. Other expressions are jewelry art in the form of rings and other things made of metal wire of various sizes and types that are joined according to the traditions and crafts of the "travelling people".
