This is a song inspired by my experiences as a freshman in college at the University of Montana-Missoula. 

Sometimes I feel like I left a bit of my soul out there in Montana. I guess it just must've floated away on some pot smoke.

It's about realizing that the power you thought someone held over you was actually given to them by you, and you have the strength to reclaim it. Written in a reflective state, "Trophy" blends personal experience with elements of Pop and R&B. If you've ever felt powerless or unfulfilled in a relationship where you don't get the reciprocation you deserve, this song is for you.

Emerging artist Ward Andrews is thrilled to announce the release of his debut single "Do You Hear Me Now" on August 23rd, 2024. This track marks a pivotal beginning to his career, channeling a vast array of musical influences and personal growth into a single profound statement.

"There's a collection of musical ideas I've had since I started learning to write music in 2020, many demo tracks and different instrument sets. You can hear some of these ideas simmering underneath the track as the song builds at the beginning," says Andrews. He describes "Do You Hear Me Now" as "the culmination of trying a lot of ideas and learning a lot of instruments and software and analog gear." This track is not just a song but an announcement of his arrival on the music scene, bringing together many ideas into one grand chorus.

The single is a celebration of artistic discovery and expression. "The vocals hum along as the drop kicks in. It's a celebration of finding one's artistic voice and celebrating that, dancing with all who are listening," Andrews elaborates. This introduction serves as more than just music; it's an invitation to join in a shared experience that transcends the ordinary listening experience.

"This track is a great way to kickoff my journey, it is cinematic, emotive, melodic house," Andrews continues. He further explains the ethos behind the track: "'Do you hear me now' could also be stated as 'do you feel this energy we are creating now'. Experiencing dance music takes the artist and the audience sharing the experience together and then sharing it with others. This track is about inviting people to experience this music together."
"Do You Hear Me Now" invites listeners to not only hear but feel the vibrancy and emotion of Andrews’ music, marking the start of what promises to be an enriching journey both for him and his audience.

P.S: Greetings, my fellow audiophiles. This is my debut single as an artist. It was a tough decision to share vulnerability through songwriting, especially, of struggles from my younger years. Unironically, this is the message I wanted to share to those who are feeling that their art is being overshadowed by internal conflicts. Take your time, it gets better. I hope yours too.

"What For" is an emotionally driven alternative pop-rock track.
 It’s my debut single—an original demo that slowly came to life with the help of my producer, Michael Banks.
The song explores the relationship between my present self and future self, lingering on the question of personal success. It represents my personal statement as an emerging songwriter.

Industrial guitars weave throughout the track, complemented by experimental keys, all building around the vocals.

‘Baagi’ is a song about love - the spirit of rebellion, pain, yet strength and hope. The song delves into the intricate entanglement and struggle of introspective wisdom of past suffering vs the promise of self attainment and end of emotional yearning in a hopeful future.  
Conveying a heartfelt dialog between the mind (logic - the first two verses) and the heart (emotions- the last melodic harmony), it captures the intense conflict and rebellion of the heart in deep love - a heart that is deeply hurt, traumatized, yet stands defiantly against all odds, and may be even against good judgment!

Description: Symphonic Bionic was created to be background music to Luis Bunel & Salvador Dali's 1929 silent film "Un Chien Andalou". This was one of the rare cases where the music was created with the visuals in mind. The plan was for a new-age version of the Black & White film to be released with the single complete with similar but more releavent topic in 2025, but for personal reasons, the animator was unable to finish the project. The song was made to mix the sounds of US rap music with European orchestral music hence the title. It was also created to mix US rap music & European orchestras to give a feeling of it being robotic and cold... mechanical and eerie.
