J’arrive alors à la vitesse de décollage et je décide alors de tout réduire. Je reviens penaud vers le parking, c’est l’incompréhension.

Un viaggio nel mondo del cinema, attraverso manifesti e locandine di film degli anni ’50 e ’60 del Novecento, tutto “condito” dalla tecnica del décollage. L’artista italiano Nicola d’Arco, che vive in Romania da quasi 15 anni, invita il pubblico “Oltre la pittura” nello spazio espositivo dell’Università di Urbanistica e Architettura “Ion Mincu” di Bucarest, a scoprire la sua mostra personale inaugurata l’11 febbraio, che raggruppa lavori plasmati nell’arco di 20 anni di carriera.  
L’artista ha spiegato a Radio Romania Internazionale, in un’intervista rilasciata a Eugen Cojocariu, cosa rivela “Oltre la pittura”. La mostra è articolata in una sezione che include i lavori creati dall’artista tramite la tecnica del décollage, da lui prediletta per esprimere idee, messaggi e sentimenti, accanto ad un’impressionante collezione di manifesti e locandine di film originali. I lavori raffigurano prevalentemente celebrità leggendarie del cinema italiano e mondiale – Elisabeth Taylor, Marilyn Monroe o Marcello Mastroianni. 
Nella stessa intervista a Radio Romania Internazionale, Nicola d’Arco confessa che, se non avesse scelto la strada dell’arte nella sua carriera, un’alternativa sarebbe stato il mondo del cinema. E spiega anche in che cosa consiste il décollage, creato negli anni ’60 da Jacques Villeglé e Mimmo Rotella come genere molto associato alla pop-art. Una tecnica che va riconosciuta come arte, perchè è un’arte che si propone a tutte le generazioni, conclude l’artista, che intende portare i suoi lavori anche in altri paesi. 
La mostra “Oltre la pittura” di Nicola d’Arco, organizzata da Galeria Arhiva de Artă, in collaborazione con l’Università di Urbanistica e Architettura “Ion Mincu” di Bucarest,  rimarrà aperta fino al 18 febbraio. (foto; Eugen Cojocariu - Radio Romania Internazionale)

(di Eugen Cojocariu e Iuliana Anghel) Dal 19 al 28 maggio, il capannone per aerei Romaero Băneasa, diventato padiglione espositivo, ha ospitato la prima edizione della MoBU, la Fiera Internazionale d’Arte di Bucarest. La rassegna, che ha riunito oltre 30 gallerie d’arte e quasi 200 artisti visivi, ha offerto al pubblico una retrospettiva Daniel Spoerri, celebre artista e scrittore svizzero novantenne nato in Romania, l’ideatore della della corrente della Eat Art come performance interattiva. Assieme a Jean Tinguely e Yves Klein, Daniel Spoerri ha gettato le basi del movimento artistico del Nouveau Réalisme. 
Una corrente alla quale appartiene anche l'artista italiano Nicola d'Arco, che vive in Romania da quasi 15 anni, presente alla fiera che ha appena chiuso i battenti a Bucarest. Intervistato da Eugen Cojocariu per Radio Romania Internazionale, l’artista ha parlato dei lavori esposti alla MoBU, creati tramite la tecnica del décollage, da lui prediletta per esprimere idee, messaggi e sentimenti.
