KOICHI SATO was born in Osaka, Japan and began expressing his love of music during his high school days by collecting and playing his favourite record. 
At just 17 he started his own rock event that grew from a small club with only 20 guests to become a trendsetter in the Osaka 
rock scene by not only hosting members of bands like Tahiti 80 and Passion Pit as guest DJs, 
but also hosting the official Japan Tour parties for bands such as Radiohead, Coldplay, Muse and more. 

Koichi began focusing on dance music began shortly after graduating high school. Spinning mostly Tech House, House and Techno tracks, he held several residencies at clubs in both Osaka and Tokyo. 
He also opened for international acts like Pendulum, Basement Jaxx, Sven Väth, Daddy G (Massive Attack), UNKLE, Darren Emerson, Feeder and many others. 
Not content with just working the club scene, Koichi expanded into performances at the famous Fuji Rock Festival, at fashion shows for some of the world's top brands and even hosting a regular show on one of Japan's most popular radio stations, FM802. 

-Koichi has since gone from strength to strength and here are just a few of his achievements-
2010・Begins his own record label, Sugar Recordings, from which he releases original music, creates songs for use in major companies' commercials, presents compositions to major Asian artists, and produces background music and sound effects for use on the radio.
2015・Partners with Mika Kitten to produce music and so far they have released remixes and original tracks on labels from around the world including Italy, Spain, Russia, Germany, Dubai and America.
2016・Wins a Ken Ishii Remix competition sponsored by Spanish imprint Different is Different Recordings.
2017・Relocates to Dubai 
        ・Xuclar EP / Reload Records, Berlin. Climbed to 62 on the Beatport Techno Top 100. 
2018・Breaks 1 million plays on SoundCloud with his release on California’s Digital Records, Sunset Drive. 
        ・In the summer goes on to host DAYDREAM, a villa party in Ibiza, Spain. 
2019・Collaborates with Dubai techno imprint Evolvement Recordings on their compilation ANALOGUE Volume 1 and plans to take part in label release parties and tours. 
        ・Noor / Pachira EP / YOMO Records, Berlin. Continues to climb the Beatport charts, reaching 29 in Melodic House & Techno and 44 in Techno Top 100. 
2020・Breaks 2 million plays on SoundCloud with his release on California’s Digital Records, “Sunset Drive”. 
        ・Breaks 1 million plays on SoundCloud with his release on California’s Digital Records, “Mojave”. 
        ・ “Shani EP” was picked for Mixmag Asia and Rated 8/10. 
2021・He started an online DJ Show on Club House and Twitch and created a popular show that attracts one of the top audiences in the Club House music genre.
2024・Starts a new regular party “波’-NAMI-“ featuring Japanese culture at CONRAD DUBAI Secret Garden by VII with Mika Kitten. The party is held every Monday and attracts more and more people each time, making it a big hit on Dubai's night club scene.
        ・Breaks 4 million plays on SoundCloud with his release on California’s Digital Records, “Sunset Drive”. 
        ・Breaks 2 million plays on SoundCloud with his release on California’s Digital Records, “Mojave”. 

His intense grooves reminiscent of Latin music and uniquely unrestrained set constructions are characteristic of Koichi’s DJ style which has grown organically from a wide-ranging musical sense informed by his eclectic record collection comprising over 10,000 selections.

Algorhythmic is a producer/DJ from Johannesburg, South Africa. His music blends elements of various genres, but he would describe it as Techno. He has a wide range of influences, including Acid Techno, Hypnotic Techno, Deep Techno, and Minimal Techno. Even classical and jazz music have influences on his sound due to his musical background that began at the age of 8. Ultimately, all of these influences combine with one another and leave you with a fresh and truly unique listening experience.

As a DJ, he plays a variety of genres of electronic music and enjoys fusing multiple genres/subgenres together in a set. He is passionate about all music that he calls "progressive" - music that elevates and frees your mind and takes you on a journey. This includes genres like Afro House, Melodic House, Deep Techno, Melodic Techno, Hypnotic Techno, Uplifting Trance, Psytrance, as well as various others. Ultimately, Algorhythmic aims to take you on a journey in every mix and leave you feeling happier, more free, and more at peace as you go on that journey with him.
