In a club in Ibiza I heard the live show of Lost Desert the first time. I was amazed by his music, tunes and I loved that night. His sound was so new and pleasant to me that it got me rightaway. He inspired me to make a mix with fine, smooth tunes, sensual vocals in a way that you can get dynamic & pulsating beats too. Enjoy this afro house influenced mix!

I'm always travelling around the world in search of records and sharing my music. I always prefer playing vinyl because I believe the curation, selection, and search for records, along with the imperfections in mixing, add a human touch to the digital revolution happening in the music universo. I create mixes for my own pleasure, but anybody can enjoy it too :) I've learnt mixing on turntables in 1998. That was the gold age :) Now it's lot more easier to create a mix with pc programs (like virtual dj and so on). In the civil life I'm an attorney which work is also a creative activity, so is mixing. 

I don't do any afterwork on my mixes, don't normalize them. I love perfection but sometimes I make mistakes in mixing what you may probably not recognize.  

The frequency of some of my mixes is changed to 432 hertz. I give you good vibrations in this way too :)

BIO :

Record salesman and drummer in different band during the end of the 80’s,he’s always been attracted by the music he goes in the beginning of the 90’s to djing discovering his new love 4 hip hop, he learns the basics of the mix and the love to create a musical universe. 

Discover House Music in the early 90s in a club near his home in the south of France and begins to become obsessed by this music. 1992 a friend already resident of a bar asks him to replace him and thus begins his career of Dj where he begins to explore the different facets of House Music.
 
For more than 25 years he will continue to explore all the different genre of this music wich he considers the richest and varied in emotions. 

In Vietnam for more than 10 years 2009 -2021 he will persue his Dj career through his residences in different bars and clubs such as The Lighthouse, The Observatory, Broma not a bar, Last Call , Blanchy's , Bam Bam ...

Go back to France in September 2021 he install his new residency in Marseille at the Chill bar where he’s gonna show his full music range from soulful house to deep house or afro deep to nu disco to some re edit disco or even for a weekly event a classic 90’s 2000’s Hip Hop RnB party

Barcelona-born Producer and DJ Paul Ikky has been passionate about electronic dance music from an early stage of his life, offering a refreshing and innovative approach to Progressive House and Melodic Techno. He started his first productions in 2018 and, since then, he has been fully dedicated to making his passion his way of life.
 
Paul has a long background as a guitarist and has played in several local bands in his hometown over the years. His fascination for Jazz, Soul, Funk and other genres has made him approach electronic music production from a broader perspective, which also shaped his sound as elegant and unique.

As a DJ, he has played at a number of venues and nightclubs in his hometown such as Slow Club, M7, and countless private events. His sets are always deep and energetic, having a melodic and vibrant nuance which make the crowds lose themselves in the rhythm.

He has released his music in some relevant labels in the industry, such as Hollystone Records, Bemind Deep, Area Verde Records or Polyptych Records. His songs give out powerful energy and are all characterised by having a driving, punchy groove and deep, energetic and sometimes emotional melodies.

Paul is bound to have an impact in the electronic music industry and is definitely here to stay. He is currently working on many exciting musical projects that will blow up the dancefloors of the world.
