Igor, known in the electronic music scene as TerraTech, embarked on his musical journey in 2001, driven by an early fascination with diverse styles of Psytrance music. His initial foray into this new psychedelic world occurred at private parties and local clubs throughout Portugal, where he honed his mixing skills and deepened his understanding of the music genre. By 2005, these formative experiences culminated in the creation of his solo project, TerraTech.

Since then, Igor has released many tracks on esteemed labels within the underground Psytrance community, including Urban Antidote, Insomnia, Bhooteshwara, Sangoma, OmVeda, Deviant Force, and many others.

Around 2010 he took the helm of Urban Antidote, overseeing its growth and vision while continuing to contribute his unique sound and taste to the label’s catalog.

With twenty years of experience, TerraTech has graced stages across Europe, Asia, and America, performing at renowned festivals such as BOOM, Psychedelic Circus, Psycrowdelica, Waha, Ufo Bufo, just naming a few. His sound is characterized by dynamic, immersive atmospheres enriched with organic and cosmic elements, creating an emotional journey on the dancefloor.

In recent years, Igor has compiled several successful releases under Urban Antidote, with titles including “Optoplanar,” “Renewal” , “Modulating Architects” and “TEN,” celebrating the label’s 10th anniversary.

As he continues to innovate and produce, the future promises exciting new projects and surprises for fans worldwide. Stay tuned for the next chapter in this evolving sonic adventure.

Urban Antidote Records was born at the end of 2006 in Portugal . Our purpose is to create an URBAN ANTIDOTE, a musical escape from the harsh daily reality and a break from urban stressed life as many of us know it nowadays. Our main aim is to stimulate people and show them a way to think out of the box, to live in alternative ways from the usual ones and we would love people to share their own personal ideas on how to do that with us as well. I have been in the House Music scene for nearly six decades. My journey spans from dancer to blogger and currently DJ. I run a German-based radio show called Sounds from the Chi. I have a monthly show called Calling on House Heads on my Twitch channel.  I’ve been featured on various radio shows such as Our House Is Disco on 54House.fm in Germany; UICRadio.org in Chicago; HousWerk Mixshow KAOS Radio in Austin, TX; Groove Station on Housemusicradio.ca hosted by Jackman Jones in Toronto, Canada; and QSC Radio Show at WNUR 89.3 in Chicago.  I am currently involved in various Twitch Raid Trains.

You have seen me play at gigs like House on Paseo festival in September 2018 and at the former Mid Nightclub in early January 2019. In March 2019 I opened for Sugar Shack Family Reunion at Barcelona Nightclub in Austin, TX during the South by Southwest Festival. In June 2019, October 2019, September 2021, September 2022 and, May 2023 I played at various gigs and online Radio in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In addition, I played in my city of Chicago on 2 occasions.  Chicago Meetup in Sept 2023 and recently at Replay in Lincoln Park on Feb 2024
