This set is special. 

It's not every day you get to open for one of the artists you most admire.

An artist who, when I first experienced his music, transformed my soul and turned my relationship to music upside down.

An artist so transformative that you could say he created an accident on my journey. He influenced my direction, and propelled my motivation.

I seized this magnificent and symbolic moment to celebrate. To celebrate my success, and to mark with joy what appears to be the completion of my first major cycle in my musical adventure. It marks the culmination of more than two years of passionate efforts to follow my inner voices and embody the artist in me. 

And it's only the beginning.
Because since this set, my inner fire has been burning brighter than ever before.

For this set, I intentionally selected some old tracks and some new songs. The older ones echo my first ecstatic dance dj sessions in Mexico. They activate in me a deep sense of nostalgia. They give me the perspective of time passing and make me contemplate how far I've come. Which makes me proud. The more recent ones bring freshness and feed the inner fire.

The set ends with four original tracks created by me. 

Soon I'll be sharing their stories with you all. Where they come from, and how they will soon come to life in the universe. At that moment, at their official launch, I'll truly be able to say: life really does work in magical full circles. Those who know, know...

Opening Set for Mose's Cacao Dance in Montreal

An architect making organic downtempo collages.

LECOURS is the surname and stage name of DJ and producer Pierre-Olivier. Meaning "the course", his name evokes the elusive mystery of existence taking its own course. As a non musician, his music consists of deep and vibrant collages of various instruments from around the globe, infused with his curiosity about the mysticism of his own existence. 

In early 2022, he sold (almost) everything, quit his job as an architect, and traveled through Mexico and Central America for six months. He took a DJ controller and a laptop. As he moved from one community to another, often as an ecstatic dancer, sometimes as an ecstatic dance DJ, a kind of magic happened. He discovered new genres of music coming from the ancestral tribes. Powerful, liberating and healing music rooted in the history and elements of our homeland. He also participated in an immersive music production and sound healing residency with some of the world's best organic electronic producers and djs (Mose and J.Pool).

More than two years later, on October 26, 2024, the day of his birthday, his first EP was released on Mose's label, Resueño. A label of recognized international prestige in the panorama of organic downtempo music.
