Our latest installment in the 'Delayed with...' series welcomes a founder of popular online music magazine Inverted Audio, Tom Durston, aka Antepop. 
Antepop played a vinyl-only all-nighter at London's Cafe Oto a few weeks ago, and we are happy to feature the first two hours of that set on our platform. The mix gradually unfolds from ambient, experimental, electronica, and dub to the finest deep house that would set an ideal mood for any given dance floor. With the accent on track selection and setting up the mood, this is a warm-up set done right. Tracks by Huerco S, Traumprinz, Leafar Legov, Rising Sun, and DJ Sprinkles, with some Workshop and Giegling magic, will brighten up your day and prepare you for the weekend ahead.

Delayed with... Antepop

One of the leading figures in the 'new generation' of drum'n'bass producers, Cluj-based Eduard Costea, better known as DYL, has been on our radar for quite some time. His last year's collaboration with Synkro, 'Empty faces' EP, on Swiss record label re:st, is still one of the most played releases here at Delayed HQ.
After numerous guest mixes that we heard from DYL and many episodes of his radio show, Echo, we were excited for a reason when Eduardo sent us his vision of the 'Delayed with...' mix. This one-hour journey is programmed to perfection. DYL sets up the atmosphere in the first quarter of the mix with a couple of lush, cosmic ambient tunes and takes off with GiGi FM's '22 Tear Drops'. From that moment, DYL travels to the dark side of  halftime drum'n'bass and creates a perfect after-hours atmosphere, eventually finishing the journey with some crème de la crème leftfield electronica. This is a proper late-night eclectic journey.

NYC-based Jonathan Lundquist, known as IT-XPO, is a Delayed regular for a good reason. The Chicago native never disappoints, regularly putting out exceptional DJ mixes, an impressive amount of live mixes that are somehow always full of fresh material, and of course his releases. 

Today we feature Lundquist’s second mix on Delayed, this time with an hour and a half of dance floor-oriented music. The most distinct characteristic of IT-XPO’s music is its dedication to emotion without compromising on unrelenting grooviness. This mix is no different. Opening on a “high” note with Lawrence’s Oolong High, and sustaining the energy throughout the 90 minutes, this mix will have you locked in and unwittingly swaying nonstop. The first hour is house à la Mr. G, before shifting to higher energy with hypnotic basslines and melody mania. 

IT-XPO has been and will keep putting out beautiful electronic music for years, and we are extremely happy to be able to support such an incredibly passionate who also just so happens to be our neighbor.
