Guttation: The extrusion of water and sometimes salts from the aerial parts of plants, particularly at night when transpiration rates are low. 

Deliria oozes its binding mysticmusic into the surrounding air.

Gummed shut 
Rolls the iris anew. 
In that shuttered receptor  
A thousand tiny black wells  
Gush up a raw-red puss 
So filled with the sung songs 
Of Silent Blackmirrors. 
Ever listening, 
Collecting small tokens 
Of personal insight on the 
Fevered dreams of the Static - 
The three “wise” men  
Salute the punctured Currach; 
Caught, bought and sold. 
Anew, again, afresh 
Comes the Siren Sun - 
The green myst breaks  
And collects our consciousness; 
We the people  
Now blindly bound 
At the dullest light of day. 

Aubade, a poem of the dawn, is the ‘first’ movement in the larger orchestral cycle Deliria, the great tree of life that sits at the centre of the imagined, magical world of Delirium. Great tendrils of light break clear from the north as Delirium itself wakes to greet the morning sun. 
In Delirium, time moves neither backward nor forward; the mountains, trees and streams of this place are then Delirium’s time piece. They raise their Magïma (spirits manifested from a broken standard model) to sing the star’s silence, loyal in their allegiance to that most terrible of celestial fires.  

Associations of dawn are universal to the lived experience of humanity; birdsong, joy, the primal catharsis of daybreak – imbuing us with our individual circadian periodicities. What if the dawn was not met by sentient beings, so bound to their own hubristic perspectives? 

What if the rising star sounded the great morning bell that sheaths the night and casts the world again in gold without ‘us’?  
What then?
