Fugue on a Natural Law

Here we have a 2010s, UMF-inspired big room-style EDM track that takes elements from a variety of different styles, most notably: tech house, bass house, dirty dutch, acid house, acid techno, reggaeton, moombahton, electro house, and progressive house. The samples used in this track are heavily modified, chopped, and some are both vocoded and pitch-bent for the leads. This is very much a Steve Aoki/Afrojack/Dillon Francis-inspired track. A lot of the tracks come in during the 3rd bar rather than the 4th. I've been experimenting with more "off-beat" type of compositions as of late for added tension. This track is ALL about tension and release. As with the last few tracks, this current demo was composed and built in Ableton Live 12 Suite, bounced, and then mastered within Logic Pro. 

*DISCLAIMER: This track is still a huge work in progress in terms of mixing and mastering. The low end and bass frequencies are VERY intense, even with proper compression, EQing, and side-chaining. I will most certainly require some assistance with this one. I wanted to show others what my work-in-progress tracks are like prior to the release versions. A lot of this might also be attributed to adopting an entirely new workflow and getting acclimated to a new DAW. Let's see how the final version winds up!*
