Surah 64: At-Taghabun (Mutual Disillusion) - Recited by Ahmed Abdelhamid Tahoun

At-Taghabun is the sixty-fourth chapter of the Holy Qur'an, consisting of 18 verses. It is a Medinan Surah named "Mutual Disillusion" after the powerful description of the Day of Judgment, when the people of Paradise will be disillusioned by the loss of the dwellers of Hell, and vice versa.

The Surah opens with the glorification of God and addresses key doctrines: creation, destiny, resurrection, and obedience. It urges believers to face life's trials with full trust in God (Tawakkul).

Key Themes in Surah At-Taghabun include:

* The Glorification of God: Asserting God's perfect sovereignty over all creation, and His intimate knowledge of all things, both manifest and hidden.
* The Day of Loss and Gain: The certainty of the Resurrection, where the true outcome of man's actions in this world will be revealed, showing who truly gained and who truly lost.
* Trial of Spouses and Children: A specific warning that wives and children can sometimes be an "enemy" by causing one to neglect their duties to God, while reminding believers of the need for forgiveness.

🎧 DJ & Compositeur depuis plus de 10 ans, je trace ma route sans chercher la lumière artificielle du succès. Je m’éloigne volontairement des cases, des stéréotypes, des “genres obligatoires”. Je crée ce que je veux, j’écris ce que je ressens… point final.
