Legend has it that centuries ago, two star-crossed lovers, a Christian knight and a Moorish princess, fled their families’ wrath and societal boundaries to be together. 🏰❤️ Chased by their pursuers, they found themselves at the precipice of the Peña de los Enamorados. Facing a world that refused to accept their union, they chose to embrace their fate together, leaping into eternity from the rock’s towering heights. 🕊️🌄 Their story, imbued with passion and defiance, has echoed through the ages. 🎶

Today, each segment of 'Enamorados' mirrors a chapter in their tale. Welcome to The Konklave - Winter Solstice Festival Mix.  

The Konklave Winter Festival was held on the weekend of the 22nd and 23rd June 2024, and was a collaboration between 

The Konklave and Die Joint in Hartbeespoort. A 2 day Drum & Bass (DnB) event that was extremely well attended,  The Digital Shaman had the privilege of opening the two day festival on the Saturday morning with 2 hours of Desert Tech to create a safe and welcoming medicine space as the festival goers set up their tents and eased into the magical space.  

This set takes the listener on a mystical and transcendental journey, deep into the desert and far away lands with its use of haunting Arabic sounds, leaving one in anticipation of what comes next, inspired largely by many of the gems found on the Café De Anatolia record label. In her mixes, Lindog delivers hypnotic spiritual sounds that infuses organic elements with rhythmic Afro , Melodic house, Latino and Techno influences, celebrating diverse cultures and eras.

I've helped clients around the world with Ableton Live services.

Friends and peeps I have done work for include Brian Transeau (BT), Bill Hamel, John Graham, Alexander 'Sasha' Coe's Involved (charity benefit tour), Danny Howells, Nick Warren, AK1200, and others.

Starting in 2005 I produced some tracks, put a few records out. I was also low-key obsessed with the DJ set as art form, using Live as a tool to harmonize, restructure and re-edit tracks together in realtime ie. non-linear mixing or 'shuffle mixing'.

At one point I developed a custom 17 inch touchscreen + hardware controller setup to do it live on stage and in the studio. Played gigs around Orlando and Central Florida for a bit.

On my sets mixes are harmonized and tracks deconstructed / reconstructed in new sequences by skipping back and forward through the waveforms. I prepare samples to drop throughout.

After mixing I do post-production, fine tune the samples and/or produce additional parts to fit. Then I master the output to make it pump and shine.

I've chilled on it in recent years other than the sets. But people ask me what I've been up to and want me to keep it coming. 

I'm still obsessed with the art of the DJ set. So here they are.

Starting as a self taught bassist and later graduating from Berklee College of Music with a focus in music synthesis and production, Aric Sebastian (Solstice) pulls from his long and diverse career as a musician in all of his work. With early roots in soul, funk and disco, getting the audience to dance has always been priority number one. These days, Solstice is exploring the next logical step in the musical journey, the realm of DJing. Though you'll mostly find music based around techno and house and all of its cousins, you'll also find a little nu disco, electro swing and even trip hop sprinkled here and there as well.

A rising star in the techno scene, sihaya has a cult following and doesn’t pull any punches when it comes to the dancefloor. Drawing inspiration from a classical upbringing heavily involving strings, Sihaya seamlessly blends organic melodies with thumping tribal basslines in a soul-speaking style that has seen her behind the decks at institutions such as MyAeon and onesixone, and most notably Esoteric Festival 2022 & 2023. Supporting Amine K at his sole Melbourne show in early 2023 has intensified sihaya's passion for Desert Techno and Eastern Organica.
