It started on a walk home from a rave. 4PM. No sleep. Sun was too bright, church bells too loud. Something shifted 👾

Later that night: acid trip with people I love, and a rabbit named Zombie who wouldn’t stop staring at us. I think he saw something we didn’t. He became the spirit guide.
That rabbit ended up inside the song. Literally. The FX? That’s him trying to escape 🐇

I don’t know what this track is, really. I don’t know if this one healed me or broke me again. A scream inside a prayer maybe. A breakdown you can dance to 🔮

Sadness, Fear, Rage. But laced with mercy. A soft kind ⛓️

This wasn’t supposed to be drop #2. But it wouldn’t wait, it pushed its way through.

Australian singer-songwriter and performer Renee Naccari returns with her fierce new single DESTRUCTIVE, dropping worldwide on Friday, September 5th, 2025. Following her intoxicating dance track Fantasy, Renee now dives even deeper into her recent rebrand, blurring the line between light and dark, seduction and destruction.

A dark pop/dance-pop anthem, DESTRUCTIVE is ghostly yet electronic, weaving pulsing beats with seductive storytelling. At its core, the track is an exploration of Renee’s alter ego—her darker self, seductive and chaotic, always tempting her to burn the world alive. Through shifting perspectives, the lyrics toy with the listener’s perception: what begins as the tale of a dangerous female lover is revealed to be an intimate confrontation with herself.

“It’s like my own version of Fight Club,” Renee explains. “At first you think I’m singing about someone else, but then it twists—I’m talking about myself. It’s about embracing the darker, chaotic part of me that thrives on the idea of destruction. She’s dangerous, she’s seductive, and sometimes… I want to be her.”

Before its official release, DESTRUCTIVE will be unveiled live for the very first time at Homegrown Festival at The Corner Hotel (VIC) on Saturday, August 30th, 2025, where Renee will perform it alongside two other unreleased tracks and previous catalog. This exclusive debut performance promises to set the stage for her most daring release yet.
