Hello! Back doing this again (youtube channel has like 2 other versions of this). Bury the light has always been one of my favourite pieces of video game music, from the heavy synth basses to the crispness of the guitars. While my first cover definitely did not give this masterpiece its justice, my second cover built upon and made it 9 minutes however this cover, I feel, is a huge improvement from the old one. I have tried my best to pertain to the original structure of the song. There are definitely areas of improvement despite this step up.

This was a fun project to make, listening to the original and finding tabs for my guitars to play along to. Also watching music producers react and point out certain details allowed me to fully grasp the musical theory behind this music, which was incredibly helpful. I had to take many precautionary measures to make sure garageband didn't crash and corrupt the file due to the heavy load which the project put onto the poor DAW. I hope I gave the guitars some justice too, working with mutes, sustains, regular chords and power chords more than my previous escapade. The funnest part was the guitar solo towards the end! I found this really nice amp and just experimented more with pitch bending, modulations and mutes!

I would like to thank my partner for giving me the motivation to actually complete this monumental project. :)

Hello gamers. I finished cooking. 
I also probably need to workshop these titles lmao. 

I want you guys to know that making mashups ain't really my main thing. I'm a cover artist first, and a freelance audio engineer second, so please try not to expect much from me. 

However, making these mashups have been some of the most incredible experiences I've had with my DAW. Hearing individual songs combined to make something greater is hella satisfying, and I won't stop making them, whether you guys think it's good or bad.

Last but definitely not least... thank you so much for 1.5 MILLION VIEWS on my last mashup!! Even to this day, I never would have thought that a thing that I made would ever cross the 100K threshold, let alone a million.
