In today’s fast-paced, tech-driven world, our energy is constantly pulled in many directions - often without us realising it.  This session invites us to pause and reflect on how we consume our energy, and how mindfulness can help us protect it from the drains of technology and other daily pressures.

2.  What small change could you make this week to protect your mental energy?

In our busy lives, we often overlook how nature and relationships influence our energy. This session invites us to pause and reflect on these connections.  

1. How do nature or relationships with people affect your energy level?
(Think about whether they replenish or drain you.)
2. What is one small action you could take this week to energise yourself through nature or relationships?
(For example, a short walk outdoors or a meaningful conversation.)

Samatha e vipassanā sono come il dorso e il palmo di una mano: non puoi avere l'uno senza l'altro.
Spesso pensiamo alla concentrazione come a uno sforzo rigido per bloccare tutto. Ma la vera pratica è morbida: ci concentriamo sul respiro lasciando il campo dei sensi un po' aperto.
Ci distraiamo? Ottimo, ce ne siamo accorti. Rientriamo con gentilezza, senza guerra ai pensieri. La mente diventa così più accogliente, e noi diventiamo esploratori di ciò che accade, dentro e fuori.

The Middle Path you’ll find  

It opens the eye  
It opens the heart

The end of dark  

Peace, insight  
And Nibbāna’s flame

Is the noble name
