This was the soundtrack I mixed, mastered and produced for NYC fashion label Destroyer Of Worlds. Directed by Cole Durkee from D.O.W.

D.O.W. wanted to create a musical vibe and soundtrack that was dark, whimsical, chaotic, adventurous, spacey and consumerist. Pulling from various TV and movie soundtracks including John Carpenter, Fifth Element and Boston Pops Orchestra. D.O.W. also wanted various, distorted celebrity interviews and sound bites weaved within the track. All of this was set and performed on a Talk Show Set.

Spirituality can be found in consumer culture. Celebrity, internet, tv, disposable products are all tools of worship. The past is forgotten, what is old becomes new again. Fiction becomes truth as time continues forward, history becomes fantasy when you look back.
This collection is the synthesis of the love/hate relationship we have with celebrities, the power of the iconography they produce, the pervasiveness of advertising and how it works its way into art becoming art itself, and the circularity of time; whether it is trends, philosophies, war, seasons. It has happened and it will all happen again.

Late Night with 'Destroyer of Worlds' Soundtrack (NYFW. FW25)

Un voyage émouvant à travers le temps où un jeune garçon s'adresse à son futur moi, posant les plus grandes questions de la vie et recevant la sagesse des années à venir.

Cette pièce commence par une simple mélodie au piano accompagnant des voix masculines expressives. L'arrangement musical évolue délicatement, introduisant une basse synthétique et un piano électrique lors du refrain, créant ainsi une atmosphère qui s'intensifie progressivement pour soutenir le dialogue poignant entre l'innocence et l'expérience.

"Comment nous serons" se déroule comme une conversation intime entre un enfant qui s'interroge sur la richesse, le succès, l'amour et le bonheur, et son moi adulte qui répond avec une sagesse durement acquise sur le chemin imprévisible de la vie.

Cette composition évocatrice nous rappelle que la vie se déroule rarement comme nous l'imaginons dans notre enfance, mais qu'elle porte en elle une beauté même dans son imperfection.

AntiClash poursuit son travail de dialogue intra communauté juive pour parler de la lutte contre l’antisémitisme. 


Quelles stratégies adopter? Dénoncer systématiquement? Éduquer? Dialoguer avec les personnes? Doit on se réclamer de gauche ou de droite? Doit on dénoncer surtout la gauche ou la droite? Quel rapport adopter à Israël et au conflit israélo-palestinien? 


Nous avons invité pour la deuxième fois Alexandre Journo, 35 ans, ingénieur, militant à Golem et à La Paix Maintenant. Il est par ailleurs chercheur indépendant en histoire des idées, les idées qui ont animé le monde juif français au XXème siècle : franco-judaïsme, assimilation, sionisme, antisionisme, etc. et il écrit aussi notamment pour la revue Conditions et l'INRER, institut de recherches et d'études sur les radicalités politiques.


Nous avons aussi invité pour ce dialogue Sarah Aizenman, 39 ans, Cheffe d’entreprise, Elle a travaillé pendant 5 ans à Fondation France Israël, et elle est co-fondatrice de Myphotoagency, et Fondatrice et présidente de Nous vivrons, collectif juif, constitué d’anciens militants d’SOS racisme et de l’Union des Etudiants Juifs de France, et né dans la foulée du 7 Octobre pour lutter contre l’antisémitisme.  


Nos deux invités, tous deux passionnés sans toutefois représenter un écart très grand sur le spectre politique français, explorent néanmoins leurs différences et les limites de leurs mouvements respectifs, en toute honnêteté et esprit dialogique.

The first question that most people probably want to ask me is about the name of this new show.  Why would I call it “The Sad Catholic Show?” 
Well… It’s not because I am depressed… no matter what you hear in my voice… 
The real reason for using the name “The Sad Catholic Show” is because this is MY show… and my parents gave me the name “Sadoth Catholic Bowden.”
…Though having already existed for nine months on the day of my birth, I didn’t get to have any input as to what they named me… 
They wanted to give me the name of a strong leader, a Catholic Saint that was faithful all the way through Martyrdom. Preferably one that attended the council of Nicaea. They landed on “Sadoth”  and to drive the point home, they gave me the middle name “Catholic.” 
Sadoth was a Martyr who was put to death with 128 fellow Christians in Persia, and attended the Council of Nicaea in 325. He was head of the Christian community during the severe persecution of the Church in Persia under the Sassanid Persian ruler Shapur II. Arrested with many other believers, Sadoth and eight of his followers were cruelly imprisoned at Bei-Lapat and tortured prior to execution; Sadoth was beheaded… 
…and was a man… 
…which I am not… 
…but that didn’t stop them.
Growing up with the name “Sadoth” wasn’t the best.  I tried to go by “Sadie,” but I have a family that doesn’t really use nicknames.  We were given the names that we have for a reason. Sadoth became “Sad” for short, literally making me “Sad Catholic.”

BABES The DJ (Jason Vieira) has been a nightlife staple since 2012. They began their musical journey by editing show tracks and MC’ing dance parties while touring Australia with Sydney’s premier drag agency. In 2017 BABES moved to Brooklyn and transitioned their heels to headphones, keeping their passion for camp and music alive. 

They started DJing in 2018 with a residency at “Double D’s: The Dirty Disco”, a weekly party they self-produced and solo DJed at multiple venues (@dds.dirtydisco). Currently they produce a bi-monthly immersive queer dance party called Diet Zhuzh (@dietzhuzh). Established in 2021, it quickly gained popularity for its creative uniqueness, satirical nostalgia, and diverse energy. Recent club appearances include Elsewhere, The Q, Black Cat (D.C.) and the home of Diet Zhuzh: Parkside Lounge. BABES also has non-exclusive management with NYC Mon Amie Events (@mon.amie.events), DJing various weddings, art shows and corporate gigs around the tri-state area. This varied experience has given them a talent for managing performances and teams, and playing to a wide array of dancers.

BABES considers themself an all-genre music lover.
