Diesel 10 Means Trouble

“Diesel” is a gritty alt-rock anthem fueled by roaring guitars, a driving bass line, and a no-nonsense attitude, the track captures the restless spirit of rebellion and self-determination. Its verses roll like open highway — raw, confessional, and unflinching — before exploding into a powerful, unapologetic chorus that dares the world to stand in its way.

Diesel

This recording explores the ferry ships that crossed the River Tay from Fife to Dundee before the Tay Road Bridge opened in 1966.
From the first steamboat Union (1821–1836) to the last ferry Scotscraig (1951–1966), the Tay ferries evolved from wooden paddle steamers to diesel-powered vessels with Voith-Schneider propellers, designed to carry both passengers and vehicles safely across the often treacherous river.
Notable ferries include:
Union – first steamship, double-hulled wooden paddle steamer
Fifeshire (1858–1929) – first with a deck saloon, served 71 years
Forfarshire (1861–1893) – charter vessel, later served on the Forth and in WWI
Dundee (1875–1917) – first on scene at Tay Bridge Disaster
B L Nairn, Abercraig, Scotscraig (1929–1966) – later diesel ferries with car decks and advanced maneuverability
Passengers could travel on deck or in saloons, with tickets ranging from 1d to season passes. Weather conditions often tested the crews, from fog and storms to ice floes, and passengers often recall standing on deck in awe at the raw power of the river.
The Fifies remain a cherished memory for locals and visitors alike—providing both a practical transport link and a scenic escape from city life.

Ferry To Dundee before the Road Bridge

This recording brings together memories of the ferries that crossed the River Tay from Fife to Dundee, capturing voices from local people who travelled, worked, or had family connections to the service before the Tay Road Bridge opened in 1966.
For hundreds of years, ferries linked communities on both sides of the river. Early sailboats were often overcrowded, irregular, and unsafe, with fares changing daily and crossings delayed until boats were full. Following a tragic accident in 1815, regulation improved safety, with the Tay Ferry Trustees introducing reliable crews, regular sailings, and tickets.
The arrival of the first steamboat, Union (1821), marked the start of a new era. Subsequent ferries—Fifeshire, Forfarshire, Dundee, B L Nairn, Abercraig, Scotscraig—evolved from wooden paddle steamers to diesel-powered vessels capable of carrying passengers, vehicles, and even livestock. Many had saloons and deck promenades; passengers often preferred the fresh air of the upper deck, walking for exercise or simply enjoying the view.
The ferries faced all kinds of weather—fog, storms, snow, ice floes—and yet remained a lifeline for commuters, pleasure travellers, and locals. The final crossing on 18 August 1966 aboard the Scotscraig marked the end of an era, shortly after the Tay Road Bridge opened.
These recordings preserve the memories, stories, and sounds of the Tay ferries, keeping alive the voices and experiences of generations who knew the river before it was bridged.

Welcome to Jericho Records USA.
This isn’t a traditional label — it’s the archive of a lifetime spent writing, recording, experimenting, breaking rules, and rebuilding myself through music.

The original Jericho Records was an independent label my father started in the 1950s. What you’re hearing here is something new — my continuation of that legacy, shaped by the times, the tools, and the life I’ve lived.

I grew up in a musical home. My father ran the church music ministry, my mother played piano, and I was singing before I could read. Drums at 5. Guitar at 7. Bass. Saxophone. Piano. Songwriting became the way I made sense of the world, and I’ve written close to a thousand songs — with thousands more to come. I later graduated from Full Sail University with a degree in Audio Production, blending old-school recording with modern technology.

You’ll notice the sounds here are diverse. That’s intentional.
I create under different artist names, different styles, different worlds — but the voice behind all of it is mine.

And to be fully transparent:

• Some tracks are traditional studio recordings — real drums, real guitars, real vocals, all performed by me.
• Some tracks blend live instruments, VSTs, and AI-assisted production.
• Some began as my raw guitar or vocal recording and were “covered” or re-interpreted through AI tools.
• Some are fully AI-generated compositions created from my prompts.
• But every song — no matter the method — was written by me and comes from real experiences, real chapters of my life.

AI, to me, is another instrument — another creative partner.
It doesn’t replace my voice or my story; it helps me bring more of it into the world.

Over the years I’ve worked with incredible people, including Dez Dickerson (Prince & The Revolution) and Tim Gaines (Stryper), and I’ve shared stages with bands like Drivin’ N’ Cryin, Corey Taylor, Saving Abel, Hinder, and Avenged Sevenfold. But the journey didn’t end there — it evolved.

Jericho Records USA is where all those chapters live at once:
the human hands, the digital experiments, the scars, the healing, the imagination, and the divine spark that keeps me creating.

If you’re here, I hope you find something that resonates — something that reminds you that music, in any form, is a lifeline.

Our Sonic Museum project will build an audio collection highlighting the cultural, human, and natural wealth, history, and diversity of communities across North East Fife and the East Neuk – a digital storehouse of land, sea and people stories. The Sonic Museum will allow collaborations with heritage, community groups and arts organisations, encourage community involvement, and allow people to learn new skills, produce podcasts, write, perform and explore their creativity.

Recent funding from the Community Learning and Development Device Fund managed by SCVO has led the charity to develop a new initiative called The Sonic Museum. A field recording lending resource (comprising 12 professional digital field recording kits) allows communities to explore the impact of sound on our lives, capture memories, nature soundscapes, songs and sonic postcards. Four pilots are underway with the Youth Ambassadors affiliated with Balmerino, Gauldry, Kilmany and Logie Community Council, St Andrews Heritage Museum and Garden, and volunteers from Kilmany Parish Hall in the remote village of Rathillet and the Hamlet of Collessie. 

We have also started a collaboration with the Fife Writes Charity, a peer support group for published and unpublished writers. This new collaboration will further enhance the Sonic Museum's content, allowing members to record spoken word, short stories, poetry, and audio plays that bring landscape, history, and heritage to life.

He grew up on the music of the nineties, loves vinyls and is still expanding his collection of breakbeat and styles close to him.
The turning point for his love of breakbeat was Adam Freeland's performance in Prague's Roxy.
And then everything was clear .. :-)
He played his sets in legendary Prague clubs (Roxy, Cross Club, Chapeau Rouge, Meat Factory, XT3, PUNTO) but also at festivals (Metronome, Mighty Sounds, etc ..), he has a large number of performances alongside legends of the genre, such as such as Drumattic Twins, Elite Force, Sister Bliss, or Uncle, to name a few.
The sound of his sets is usually sharply broken and you will find a lot of dance and pop motifs in it, they often grind into the realms of electro, oak, hip hop but also other styles. He likes to play from records, but digital is no stranger to him either, his own studio is riddled with hardware for his own production, which he currently releases on the UK label Diesel Recordings, Perennial Recording Networks but also on the Us label One7Audio and the Slovak Breaks.sk.
Several of his releases have been placed in the Beatport charts, namely 3x Top100BreaksTracks and 3x in Top100BreaksReleases, or they have also been included in electronic compilations .. Best New Break November 20, BassBreakBeats, Electro Vibes and Breakbeat Warriors.
