Het was een bijzonder en zwaar jaar voor rapper Diggy Dex. Een burn-out dwong hem om meer dan 25 shows af te zeggen en zijn kant-en-klare album Tempo Giusto op de plank te laten liggen.

Zijn adem zat heel hoog, zijn bindweefsel zat helemaal vast en kon niet meer verder.
Hij heeft de burn-out inmiddels bezworen. 

Bijna een jaar later brengt hij alsnog zijn album uit en staat weer op het podium. 

Gideon Hofland sprak Diggy Dex, zijn moeder kent hem als Koen Jansen, over het afgelopen jaar. 

Over zijn nieuwe album, hoe hij begon met muziek maken en natuurlijk zijn stad: Amersfoort.

In 2020 Diggy finally gave in and decided to make a Tik Tok, which blew him up to internet stardom overnight with his well-known song Cute Girl. His social media virality led to a huge increase in streaming numbers with one of his songs passing the 20 million stream milestone and over a million monthly listeners. Diggy sold out his first tour and plans on having many more concerts.
