Originally made by Snowy Beatz back in 2015, this mix is a condensed recap of one of Hip-Hop's rarest subgenres, Dipset Trance.

This style of beatmaking started in the late 2000's, and it was born of Dipset-affiliated producers sampling electronic music for their MPC-made instrumentals. These digital, grandiloquent melodies  clashed with the gritty, choppy and old school character of the MPC drums which resulted in a very unique sound.

The main producer to push this sound was Aarabmuzik, who was a regular producer for Cam'ron in the late 2000's. Songs like Get It In Ohio or Spend The Night are perfect examples of Dipset Trance beats used in rap. Also the track "Salute" which marked the Dipset reunion in 2010 was also over a Dipset Trance instrumental produced by Aarabmuzik.

The first project to coin the term was the Dipset Trance Party mixtape released in 2010, which featured 31 beats from different producers all using electronic music samples and MPC-styled production.
