Following Heatwave Impromptu and Aftersun in previous years, here is my summer meditation from last year, featuring two well-known summer melodies.

I did record it at the time, but it was hard to live with the mess of overlapping voices. Now I don’t care: I’m just getting it off my chest; one take; done.

This was going to be called just ‘Summer’ (a sequel to my ‘Spring’), but, when I realised that good touch (better than this) was required to play it well, why not ‘A Touch of Summer’?
