distasteful is now one year old today!! thats really weird to think about. ive never actually kept track of the age of any of my previous projects before. in fact, it was someone else who brought this date to my attention. i wouldnt have made this or even considered it otherwise, so thanks! you know who you are :>.

a lots changed in the year since distasteful began. ive made new friends, been a part of new things, done more things im proud of. distasteful to me, in retrospect, marks the beginning of a sort of new era for me. one where i was significantly less scared to take risks, more open to new ideas, and more dedicated to improving at what i do (which isnt to say i wasnt already). but most importantly, in the year since distasteful, ive realized how much i mean to so many people, and how much you all mean to me. i hit 900 followers pretty recently! thats gotta' count for something. if it werent for you guys, i wouldnt be here. id have no one to look forward to making cool stuff for, or entertaining, or inspiring, or just making happy. and thats all i really need.

so thanks to all 900+ of you. and thanks to all my close friends. you guys are family to me.
