Dead Leaves are a Peterborough (UK) based band, sharing a love for soar-ing melodies with fuzz gazer interludes. The name reflects a desire for a degree of humility mixed with an urge to create songs that matter and have meaning. A reaction to the what-you-see- is-what-you-get punk re-surgence in recent years, Dead Leaves offer depth and soulfulness.
The band comprises a few recognisable faces from the local Peterborough scene: Mat (Dogs! Teeth!), Simon (Das Kapitans), Andy (Soviet Films). Un-derpinning it all is Fenners, a drummer from a successful London band called Adrenaline Animals, who supported The Hoosiers on their 2017 tour.
Their debut single, “Anima” was released through Socks on Records in
October 2025 on Bandcamp only.
