The ThawedCast discusses the first feature-length animated film, 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' from 1937. Philip, Jodi, and Lara examine the impact and legacy of this fairy tale classic that would influence countless films over the decades. Snow White is a princess living in a fantastical medieval-style kingdom currently overseen by her stepmother, a vain and cruel queen. When the Queen's envy of Snow White's beauty reaches a breaking point, she conspires to have the princess killed. Snow White is allowed to escape into the wilderness where she meets seven dwarfs. These mysterious, diminutive men are perplexed by their new house guest, but they grow to appreciate her for the kind spirit she is, and are willing to protect her from the Queen's wrath if ever she were to be found.
