At the age of 3, Eduard Siono-Bailon began his foray into the spotlight by doing back-up vocals for his uncle's mixtapes. Influenced by his surroundings, a landscape of records, posters, beats and his uncle's boom box, Eddie began his career in rap. With his Grandmother's blessing, a hobby soon became a passion as Eddie strived to make a mark in the business, not for the winnings of the game, but to ultimately take care of his Grandmother, just as she took care of him. At the age of 8, Eddie, under the moniker "Birdman", joined his uncle and other local artist in the race to make the Central coast of California the next hot spot in Hip-Hop. However, his jump start would prove to be only a leap as the sudden passing of his Grandfather, 1997, coupled with his Grandmother's brain tumor 3 years later, Eddie, at the age of 10, began to re-evaluate what was really important to him. His family, his home, all one in the same, and the love for the music took a new form.

Representing was no longer a path to follow as Eddie's emotions carved a new road. This road would lead him from the studios of Salinas and Monterey to the ice cold aura of Chicago. Now back and better than ever, his recordings now tell stories unbound by city limits and county lines. His peers agreed. MySpace agreed. His high school agreed, and he is ready to prove to those who don't. Being labeled "Soledad's biggest phenomenon" is not a jab at any hometown talent. It's simply a statement that best describes Eddie's Pied Piper following. Never having an album, nor a song of his own at the time, an internet fan base via myspace quickly ranked the projective emcee in the top 5 artist within a 50 mile radius. New horizons, bigger social networks and a mature audience have led to his re-branding as Eddie Vega, thus, everything that has affected him personally and professionally has prepared him to step up and grab the brass ring.
