NORTHSiDE is an alternative hip-hop artist from Chicago IL based in Atlanta. The I in NORTHSiDE is lower case to symbolize how North has felt throughout the years. He comes from a fairly well off family and a stable home situations, but North’s struggles come from battling mental health challenges and finding himself in a world of people who looked down on him. He is the I in NORTHSiDE and all the other letters represent society and the people in it. Even though the I is lowercase, it just means that NORTHSiDE considers himself an underdog. 
 
At the age of 17 NORTHSiDE started recording his music. After that he quickly started teaching himself about how to produce and engineer as well. His music is to make an impact on anyone he can. He wants to speak out against the flaws in society and create an uplifting community to have morals they act on to help others and spread positivity.
 
NORTHSiDE aspires from many artists like Dax, Hopsin, Tory Lanez, Juice Wrld, The Kid LAROI, and others. There is something for everyone on this page. His music always has a deeper meaning behind it, so there is something everyone can relate with. NORTHSiDE is currently based in the ATL area.
