Been There, Done That

I am really fond of Medicine ceremonies, and so it happened that tracks that were made after one of these ceremonies had taken place, were given names appropriately – hence The Medicine Part III. What would normally be common to these tracks is some kind of Shamanic presence (Not in a sampled chant, but rather in the sounds that create that presence. I prefer the actual chants from Amazonia to stay in the ceremony tents. That’s where they belong ). When one day Yaegon told me that he really likes the song and would love to remix it, which was very satisfying to hear. It’s probably one of the most pleasing moments for an artist - to know that what you imagined in your studio, was accurately translated into the reality of your finished production. It’s so great when it happens!

Retha and the Gospel Caravans are a family group consisting of members Joretha Gordon (Founder and family matriach), Annette Gordon-Fulton (2nd lead vocalist), Vickie Gordon-Miller (First Lead, alto, soprano), May Ester Gordon (Tenor), Ashley Gordon (3rd lead, alto, soprano), Dontrell Burgess (4th lead, tenor, alto, soprano)and D'aria Dickie. The group honors deceased member Susan Gordon-Burgess (Lead, soprano). Formally in the group was Sha'Ronda Gordon (Soprano). 

*The Caravans' ultimate goal is to sing songs of Zion that will bring people to the kingdom  of God. The group released "Shine", their first EP, after two successful albums in September of 2014. The group is going for a new sound, new direction but same Praise! Enjoy and be on the lookout for the newest full length album coming in April of 2015.*

Perfect Stranger is the stage name for California-based, Israeli electronic musician Yuli Fershtat. The Perfect Stranger project was created in February 2005 and within 2 years of its debut became critically acclaimed all over the globe. Perfect Stranger ultimately created his own sub-genre in the psychedelic scene by presenting a totally distinctive sound characterized by groovy playful beats and patiently built compositions that often bridge between progressive trance and techno with a presence of tribal and psychedelic elements.

Perfect Stranger has released 3 full artist albums, 3 remix albums, 3 compilations and appears on well over a hundred other releases (compilations, EPs, albums, etc.). He also owns & runs the “Digital Structures” label, where he publishes more tech-orientated sounds under the Yuli Fershtat moniker.
