The forthcoming release from Argentinian DJ and producer Lean Agüero, Dopamine, marks a new chapter for Inward Secrets. True to the spirit of the label, Dopamine offers a raw, introspective insight into Lean's creative mindset.

Lean created Dopamine in a moment of pure, instinctive expression. Rooted in a deeply personal experience, he describes it as "a reunion with myself". The track captures a quiet, solitary moment in which he poured his feelings directly into the music. "Right now I'm constantly learning, absorbing everything I can," says Lean. "Through music, I want to share those feelings and connect with people who are on the same wavelength."

Lean's music draws on a lifetime of eclectic influences. Growing up with the sounds of Argentinian rock at home and finding early inspiration in Daft Punk, he weaves together elements of rock, jazz, funk and disco. For him it's about creating and experiencing something real.

Dopamine is an invitation to stop, look inward and let the rhythm guide you. As Inward Secrets continues to build a platform that values introspection as much as movement, Lean's sound is a perfect fit. Dive in and see what it reveals.

I ended up taking what felt like I well-needed break after absolutely burning myself out in 2023, but I also took the time to play more live gigs and focus on that area.
