Watched a Youtube video recently on crafting your own synth patches on the MPC One just like I have been doing on the Digitakt for a while. It made me try to assemble some 80s dosk pop from old Amiga ST disc samples again. The MPC gives me polyphony and more effects on the tracks compared to the Digitakt. 
The song mode on the Digitakt is better for my taste but I guess thats only a matter of a philosophy for the workflow. I actually handled all mutes among the tracks manually on the MPC One in this tune. It took some retakes I can tell you.

Enjoy this feel-good retro tasting pop thing with mostly 8-bit 22kHz-ish samples from various synths like D-50, Juno 106 and DX21 and CZ-101.

MPC does Amiga Goodness

The original and much longer version of the soundtrack for the demo Visor Beams by Nah-Kolor, released at Revision 2023.

This original version includes a slow part which was ment for a long, slow and boring vector part which was very much a thing in the ~1991 Amiga demos it was aimed for the style of. However, certain people didn't want to annoy audiences with such nonsens (I thought it would be fun).

Rex Lacerta [DAW-version]

My pumping italo disco doskpop version of the brillantly awesome intro music to an old classic C64 game - Grand Prix Circuit by Kris Hatlelid.
Made in two nights on my new Digitakt II. Fun as always to craft something with the big library of ST disc collection, with some extra bit crushing on the lead sounds.
Also as the sweet string sound is Waldorf Blofeld padding into the input of the Digitakt, ducking for the side chain.
Hope I didn't go too far with the toms. You have to love toms on a track like this. Bonus to myself for finding a suiting overdriven guitar sample in the ST disc collection so quickly. You can really get lost in those folders of 8 bit 22khz ear candy. Enjoy!

Ableton Live with a couple of va, analogs, fm, romplers and various hybrid synths via a MOTU 828 and of course vsts. Style includes all sorts of genres, I guess film and games is the theme.
