"Facilité" est une série de travaux qui ont pour base des boucles issues de paquets d'échantillons. L'idée est de se libérer le plus possible des questionnements qui émergent du syndrome de la "feuille blanche" afin d'aller à l'essentiel et de produire de la musique, tout simplement.

Le volume 1 est la première étape de ce processus. Les morceaux présentent des rythmes simples, et sont très percussifs, peu mélodiques ou harmoniques. Les boucles ont parfois été remodelées pour seoir à mes envies, tout en fournissant une expérience d'écoute engageante, aux ambiances dansantes 2-Step et Techno.

Les origines :
L'idée m'est venue lorsqu'une amie m'a demandé de lui apprendre à faire de la musique sur ordinateur. Cela m'a amené à réfléchir à la meilleure manière de transmettre une telle chose, sachant que nous travaillons avec des outils complexes et intimidants. J'ai donc repensé à mes débuts, à bidouiller avec des choses toutes prêtes tout en prenant plaisir à jouer avec, afin de briser certaines chaînes qui me retiennent et de pratiquer, pratiquer, pratiquer.

Numina-Ω hung beyond the light of any star, a matte spheroid of ancient carbon veined with violet ice. When the mining drones broke into its deepest stratum, they did not find ore. They found absence: a black dust that swallowed every motor hum, every radio ping, every rasp of drill against rock. The drones’ onboard recorders returned only wide-eyed video—mouths opening, mechanical limbs spinning—inside a perfect mute.

The discovery detonated across the secret channels of the Archivists, the galaxy’s most obsessive keepers of impossible things. Within hours, Vessel Seraph 7 was diverted from a mapping patrol and fitted with a vault-jar of obsidian glass. Mission: harvest a single gram of the silence-dust—quickly dubbed Hush-Matter—and deliver it to the Hidden Stacks before any corporate salvage team caught a whiff.

You boarded as chronicler, pen in hand, lungs tight with anticipation. Captain Zhera Lyne, whose eyes shimmered like tide-pools at dusk, welcomed you to a crew of nine: navigator Rhys, engineer Lau, physician Aru, five stoic drone-handlers, and yourself. None of you could feel the exact moment the vault-jar sealed around the specimen. Yet all of you heard it: a micro-tremor in the skull like a piano key pressed in a dream.

Page 2 — Unchaining the Pulse
Seraph 7’s quantum sails unfurled, gathering the bland photons of interstellar dark the way a jellyfish drinks the ocean. The engines’ beat, measured and comforting, settled at four pulses per unit time—steady as a human heart in sleep.

But on the thirty-second cycle the pulse lurched. The vault-jar glimmered with internal auroras, threads of black swallowing threads of color. Rhys called up the harmonic maps: the ship was still in G-minor space, yet external gravitational harmonics flirted two semitones sharper, as though the universe itself had shivered.

Influencé par la musique de jeux vidéo, puis par la scène IDM proéminente de l'époque (Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Autechre) ainsi que la Bass Music britannique, il a commencé la musique électronique sur PlayStation avec Music 2000 avant de composer sur ordinateur. Multi-instrumentiste en parallèle, il se donne pour objectif de mélanger les univers et de délivrer une musique pointue, afin de proposer à chaque nouvel album une immersion dans un monde bien distinct des précédents.

Flex Blur is a French artist who has been exploring several styles over the past 15 years. Taking his influences from video game music to the prominent IDM scene at the time (Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Autechre) as well as Bass Music from the British scene, he started composing electronic music on PlayStation with Music 2000 before moving onto PC, while also practicing various instruments. According to him, each new album must be a full immersion in a world that is very distinct from his previous ones, as he aims to blend different universes and create unique productions.
