This song pretty much came from just wanting to write sick riffs. Tuned the low E to a B and went from there. It's a tuning I like to go to when I need some variety from ol' reliable drop D, along with the added benefit of "more low = more heavy". Wrote this one pretty quickly as the riffs and flow of the song came steadily. Tried some hybrid picking for the melody and got something that pretty much set the tone for the song.
