This song was inspired by Ludo's Love me Dead. I love that song! I love the duality of it, the push pull of the love / hate spectrum. I wanted to give a shot at writing and recording a theatrical rock song and this is the outcome! 

I tossed around a lot of ideas and kept coming back to this image of a distraught foodie having a “side of regret,” which eventually (mostly from scribbled notes between meetings at work) became the visual of someone waiting at a restaurant… again. Even though the relationship is torturous, there’s a strange, almost sadistic pleasure that keeps them showing up.

If you have ever experienced that same twisted sense of loyalty to your own heartbreak, enjoy the song. It’s darkly funny, a little tragic, and full of the theater I love in music.

Well, this song brings a surreal atmosphere, through cycles, transformation, and transcendence. You'll encounter vivid imagery of explosions touching the sky, specters crossing the mist, and fountains waiting to be revealed. The chorus’s call becomes a powerful mantra, while — I feel — the Bridge lifts the listener into cosmic space, confronting illusions and aligning with the light. The song “The Fountain” also presents poetic metaphors and dynamic shifts between introspection and ascending energy, offering a sense of progressive and experimental rock — balancing raw emotion with a futuristic style.
