Bio :
Kyrro is a sound designer and producer based in the Netherlands.
Kyrro grew up in the '90s playing electric guitar and experimenting with synthesizers.
Originally French, adept of hardware and instruments, he loves producing soundscapes and mixing deep musical genres of analog eras as well as channeling emotions through digitized sounds.
Since 2011, he lives in Amsterdam where he’s constantly shaping his dubby and ambient Electronics as he continues on exploring new musical horizons.

To say i am massively passionate about music is an understatement, I've been addicted to alternative music from a very early age, leistering to early electro around the age of 7. My first introduction to IDM was by Boards of Canada and Aphex Twin, then later progressed to fall in love with ambient and dub techno. I started creating my own sets and playing live in 2007. When I put a set together, I don't just chuck any old tunes in, I have to absolutely love each track. This can mean only producing a set when I have enough tracks, and to be fair makes the set that bit better, if not forever to make. IMO especially with ambient techno I like to mix FAST playing each track not too long, my Techno / Minimal Techno sets are even faster, packing more variety in to each set...IMO subtlety is the key...

The signature sound of dub techno – with its cool, often detached atmosphere – becomes a key element of the narrative.

At the heart of the series lies the power of electronic sound, particularly the unmistakable 4/4 beat that characterizes the techno genre. This penetrating rhythm forms the foundation that supports the entire musical structure of the series, providing the audience with a steady, driving flow. In addition, the electronic bass drum, often the backbone of the music, is combined with subtle, repetitive effects like reverb, echo, and phaser, which are characteristic of the dub techno style.

These effects not only create a deeper, immersive soundscape but also reflect the inner journey of the characters. The drifting, distorted sounds and vast reverb spaces generate an atmosphere of detachment and reflection.
