the pressure we put on ourselves as artists can be a lot. in the current state of hip hop/music/content creation/whateverthefuck where it seems like everyone is releasing things at lightening speed i started to feel like i wasn’t doing enough, sometimes nothing at all. i wanted to have my album done by early this year but you can’t put a deadline on things like that at least it doesn’t feel like it does the art justice. i want to take my time as someone who takes albums seriously. so in the end to free myself of this pressure i decided to drop a small ep of a few recent singles that just don’t fit the album & a few older loosies. i want to give y’all who listen to me something new while also giving myself the time & space to continue creating til it feels right
