Slightly unfinished Monolith-era song from a few years back. Based on "Czas Pracy" from "Poradnik Uśmiechu" (Smile Guide) by Wiktor Stribog.

a cutout covering her line of sight
she told herself she'd never live a lonely life
crimson poured when she opened her eyes
only in a toy plane, was she meant to fly

the real her is long, long gone
yet part of her still carries on

a silhouette of obscured intent
siphoning, it trails her steps and guides her through
she passes on in two hundred fifty five bright colors
none of them one of the million she knew

she knew:
"the real me is long, long gone

stumbling through these shattered doors, I am my own guide
bound from where I broke the cord, I am my own guide
