I finally found time to upload it. (Busy DJíng. ;-))

It was a special event as it had a theme: Celebrate Live. Ecstatic Dance Hilversum raised money for Movember. It is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of Men's Health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men's suicide. All income during this night went to Movember. 
For this occasion there were two DJ who both performed one hour. DJ Free Willy opened and I did my set after him. And we had a lot of beautiful and funny moments together as we celebrated life together with our love for music and dancing.

Ecstatic Dance #03 | Live set @ Vonk in Hilversum

As part of my European tour, i stopped at Lausanne in Switzerland. 

The night before the gig, i was hanging out with Joel, the organizer of the ecstatic dance, and going over his vinyl collection. He suggested me to pull records by chance. One of those records was the soundtrack of the movie Mishima, by Philip Glass, a neo-classical composer i know and play a lot. The first track was just ok but the 2nd track was hypnotizing. We listened to it ove and over again.
So, naturally, i bought it and played at the ecstatic dance journey, alongside African, Brazilian, Afro-latin, Jazz, Trip-Hop, Tribal, and many other genres and styles.

I had so much fun playing this set for the dancers at Ride the Rhythm on August 22, 2025. Putting this playlist together took a bit of courage, and I’m grateful for everyone who shared the dance floor that night. May this wave bring you joy and inspire your own dance journey.

It was very hot in the room we danced in, but that didn't stop anyone! You just kept dancing and dancing and dancing. And I kept driving it up a notch. A lot of laughing, shouting, growling and a loooooot of dancing! You guys rock!

For those who don't know Ecstatic Dance: they are gatherings where people actually listen and dance to the music! No talking, no phones, no alcohol, no drugs and a lot of crazy dance moves. Love it!

Ecstatic Dance Mix Vol.1  (My First DJ Mix Ever!)

I had so much fun playing this set for the dancers at the Hadden Park, at the east end of Kitsilano Beach in Vancouver. This event was a collaboration with my dear friend, Gloria Glo who produced the event. This was a silent disco-style event and it was a tribute to the SUN, it was one of kind experience!

Amersfoort is a beautiful city near Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

Bliz Nochi grew up in Moldova, born into a musician-family, surrounded by the rich cultural traditions of Eastern Europe, where music was a constant thread in everyday life. Now based in Hamburg/DE he draws on these early influences, blending them with his deep connection to nature and his curiosity about the emotional power of sound. Through his music style, Bliz Nochi brings together electronic beats and traditional folk sounds from around the world.
