Recientemente se cumplieron 20 años del fallecimiento de Elliott Smith, un genio marcado por una dura infancia en Dallas, de la que huyó con tan sólo 14 años a Portland, la que fue su ciudad. Allí se inició en el grupo de rock Heatmiser y acto seguido comenzó una carrera en solitario que le llevó a alcanzar en muy poco tiempo una fama para la que no estaba preparado. Víctima de sus demonios y adicciones, murió con tan solo 34 años y en unas circunstancias aún sin aclarar, aunque sus ideas suicidas hacen que la idea generalizada sea ésta. Su última etapa fue, en lo personal, una bajada a los infiernos en toda regla y sin embargo, nunca dejó de publicar discos alucinantes. Repasamos en este programa su historia e inmaculada discografía.
