a quiet story woven from the traces left after the sky turns pale.

Velvet Miko will be releasing the two-track digital single
Echoes After the Blue
(#1 Contrail / #2 Wingless Lovers)
across all major platforms in mid-December.

Ahead of the official release, several early demo versions are available on SoundCloud as a small breath of winter arriving before its time.

Contrail has lived many lives - as Track 1 of Velvet Stories,
Track 1 of Velvet Stories II under the title Hikousen,
and as the demo single You Are Not Alone.
A trail drawn across the sky, reshaping itself each time it returns.

Wingless Lovers carries a quieter, more intimate lineage.
Its original form was Akanesasu, Track 4 of Velvet Stories II.
From that soft, dusk-colored light, the song was refined and transformed into
Wingless Lovers - a tender ache, a quiet prayer shared by two hearts without wings.

These demo versions will remain available until one week before the official release.
I hope you enjoy these delicate, unfinished moments before their final form reveals itself.

🖤 Velvet Miko is a 2.5D alt-rock duo blending anime-born emotion with gothic atmosphere. Their bilingual songs drift between fantasy and reality. In our profile image, Beni stands on the left with clean vocals, while Iris stands on the right with powerful and sometimes harsh vocals.
