ErikM & Gaudenz Badrutt form a rare and incisive duo at the intersection of experimental electronics and electroacoustic improvisation. Their collaboration explores zones of friction between live sampling, electronic systems, and sound-based performativity, weaving a dense and immediate dialogue built on noise textures, tense silences, and unexpected sonic events.
Gaudenz Badrutt, a key figure of the Swiss experimental scene (notably active alongside Norbert Möslang and Jonas Kocher), shapes a minimalist and finely detailed approach to real-time electronics. ErikM, composer, sound artist and improviser, engages with hybrid electronic setups in a highly physical and committed manipulation of sound.
Together, they create a fluid listening space, driven by a non-hierarchical dialogue where each electronic gesture becomes living matter — suspended between tension and emergence.

DANEnet offers technical support and equipment to over 100 non-profit organizations in Dane County, according to Director of Development, Sarah Linn. In addition, they are dedicated to improving social and economic equity by connecting low-income households to affordable internet service and computers, and by providing free computer literacy classes in community centers and libraries. This coming Friday, August 22, 2025, is their Back-to-School Tech recycling event, with goals to keep toxic materials out of landfills, ensuring that all recycled data devices are wiped completely, and refurbish, re-use, or sell to support their programs.
