This was originally recorded in early 2016 as a reaction to weather events (and the damage associated with them), that had occurred at that time. I remixed and mastered it in 2022, focussing on levelling, panning and EQ issues in the original recording.

This was originally put together between August and November 2019, and then forgotten about after moving to a new computer, having a very busy period at work and three lockdowns. I managed to complete it during March/April 2021. I remixed it in June 2022, adding a new synth part to the final section. I'm hoping this will be released in early 2024.

A series of small journeys through lyrical spaces with the Piper's presence tauntingly close.

14 Mins 36 Secs, with some contributions and Mastered by Geoff, this is the full second part of the Concept Theme 'The Piper of Albion'

The piece opens gently: a shimmering 12-string arpeggio and a sustained bass pedal conjure a mellow, expectant stillness. A synth voice enters, offering a contemplative refrain — as if the land itself is remembering. Then, with growing drama, the spirit of the Piper stirs, rising like the first light of dawn through ancient mists.

Suddenly, the mist parts. A steady, marching drum emerges — familiar, grounding — and with it the distant sound of children’s voices. The Piper has come. Joyful, almost carefree, they follow his steps: a merry band laughing as they cross the land. Yet in the shadow of their gaiety, something darker lingers… a presence not yet revealed.

The second half draws us deeper. We hear the Piper’s theme take shape — motifs that will bloom fully in The Piper’s Song. The flute reprises the refrain; verses begin to tumble forth, hinting at words not yet sung. Then, with a breath and a rush, the Piper’s spirit surges. The drums swell, the children call, and we are swept up in his invitation — “Follow me!”

Still, just beneath the joy… the faint trace of a question.

Behind the project stands Vincent Limas,  33 years old producer, based in Bordeaux/France. KoRs style can be described as a majestic mix of colors and cultures. Using bewitching crystalline sounds, melodic riffs, emotional atmospheres and house vocal samples, he creates a recognizable, personal style. Over the last ten years, KoRs played in multiple events, in France and Australia, giving pleasure to his fans. his music is  a euphoric and interesting travel. It combines authentic rhythms, estranged soundscapes, pounding kick-drums and brainstormed synth lines, offering an imprinted, progressive experience. Vincent smashed the restrictions of creativity, as he's ranging from expressive, morning ideas to ethereal unique vibes. Its a another consciousness trip through the wide range of electronica.

Trying to reconcile love for old-school Prog-Rock with more modern approach to instrumentation and composition. Hopefully the results of this unlikely fusion will yield some level of success.

Just a Cosmic Pilgrim wandering around Life, the Universe, and Everything,  So far, 42 makes about as much sense as anything else ;)

Forced to learn the Piano at age 6.  I Hated it.  Became inspired by music as a Chorister.  Became a serious musician as a teenager, studied to Diploma standard and enjoyed itinerancy for a while.  Yes it was fun!

Real life had other ideas for some decades, but now retired, the Muse once again beckons.  Only this time I can go wherever the Muse takes me.  Often I have no idea where it will be.  And that is fun.

Here on Soundcloud you will find a mix of style and genres, maybe even a morphing with my own.  My comfort zone is Classical but then it gets a bit less distinct.

Prog Rock is a big influence no question, but I like to wander if the Muse moves, so don't be surprised if the style changes during a piece.  I'm sorry if it doesn't work for you.  Do make a comment if so.

Once upon a time I had to go through the rigorous trials of examinations and testing as a scholar and performing Classical musician, where every detail is critical and the technical focus is intense.

Now I have no judgement other than like or dislike.  Enjoy or not.  There is no 'good' or 'bad' music.  That now sounds pretentious to me.  I do what I like and enjoy.  I listen to what I like and enjoy.  

I spend no time putting down other music, and I have endless admiration for anyone who tries to play or create music no matter their ability.  They should always be encouraged not disparaged.

My partner used to ask me how I could put up with the sound of 6 year olds starting to learn the violin when I was teaching, as if this was a torment.  It obviously was for her.

But for me it was a privilege.  Every inch of progress was a shared conquest towards something special.  The screeching and scratching was music to my ears not a torment.  I suppose that is the difference?
