This song is about grief. 
It’s a story about the overwhelming realisations that come with it, and ultimately the anxiety that follows. A year and a half ago, I lost two very important parts of my life within two weeks of each other. So, this song tries to capture how it felt to hear the same news, the second time around, and the feeling of intense unease, knowing what had happened without it even being confirmed yet. 

This all came about through a process of self reflection and experimentation, to link my thoughts and ideas of grief to more abstract concepts, ultimately as a way to cope. Some parts are raw recollections of memories, and some are shown through layers of abstraction.
