I'm a songwriter lyricist and singer. I'm sure you can tell I'm also a gay man. I write my music from my perspective - but I'm not a parody, my sounds aren't vulgar even if they walk the line of being provocative. I sing on all my tracks, I layer and produce my vocals and pitch shift on occassion to convey the message of a song.
