This track takes a hard look at the empty promises of salvation while the world literally burns. Set at "midnight in the forest," it critiques the greed that turns nature into ash and the blindness of those who watch it happen. The "devil" isn't a myth, it's the destruction we see on TV and feel in the darkness.

Formed in 1989 as various other names until we settled on Conduit in the early 1990's. Started jamming in a chicken coop, recorded music on a 4-track reel-to-reel, evolved to digital technology, Cakewalk, Acid Loops, etc... in the 1990-2000's.
