ChapterOne- Ghost of the Forgotten Snows

Sometimes it doesn’t end the way we thought. This song is about the bittersweet journey of reminiscing a past love that once felt eternal but has since faded away. Reflections on shared moments and places, like mountain trails and starlit nights, that were once filled with love and joy. However, now these memories are overshadowed by the reality of being alone, as the physical remnants of their relationship (names etched in trees, paths once walked together) have been eroded by time and nature. The imagery of nature reclaiming these symbols of their love parallels the way their relationship has disintegrated, leaving June to navigate these memories alone. The song captures the melancholy of remembering a love that once soared but ultimately didn't last, and the enduring impact of those memories despite the passage of time.

We follow the long debate over whether and where the remains of the ancient legendary city of Troy could be found, and we see how the mystery was solved by the excavations overseen by the brilliant, ruthless, and indefatigable German businessman, explorer, and serial liar, Heinrich Schliemann.

Pt. 2 will examine how modern scholars and excavators have used the finds from the site in Turkey -- including the long lost priceless "Treasure of Priam" -- to reconstruct the city and its place in the Bronze-Age world.
