An artist with a long, rich and varied history with Proton, Erdi Irmak has always been at the vanguard of the organica sound. Now he returns to the flagship label with a brand-new original track in "Nightwalker".

Over 70 production credits span the Erdi Irmak portfolio on both the Particles and Proton Music labels, a 2013 debut on the former quickly leading to the high watermark, "You're Either Guilty or Not Guilty" full-length album a year later. The "You in Me" and "Night" EPs opened the Turkish artist's account on Proton Music, before the "Hidden Arcadia" series quickly found its feet. 7 volumes later and a veritable smorgasbord of stunning original material and high-class remixes from the likes of Amháin, Rauschhaus and Nōpi, has seen Erdi form a special and organic relationship with the label as his music and production techniques have evolved over a 4-year period since "Hidden Arcadia, Vol. 1" debuted in late 2018.

Now returning with the smooth sounds of "Nightwalker", a deep and rolling percussive groove sits perfectly alongside a bassline full of subtle vibrancy. Female vocal cuts create a dancefloor energy as they add to the layered-groove effect while an analogue lead line creates a new and emotive direction at the breakdown. Extending into the second half, the return of familiar rhythmic components and cadenced vocals create another stunning track.

Adding to the EP, a delicate "2024 Retouch" of a pair of tracks from the "Hidden Arcadia" series supply another classy touch. From Vol. 2 a new version of "Echoes in Time" extends the rhythmic poise of the original while further developing the central melodic themes of the original. Additional vocal touches and a deep, smooth vibe create a perfect reworking a track and demonstrate how far Erdi's production skills have developed. Similarly, Vol. 4's "The Floating Bridge of Heaven" is another deep organic house interpretation that is centred around a silky rolling groove and meandering melodic flow. Retaining the central melodic ideas, counterpoint phrases and more uptempo vibe, generate a dancefloor friendly track that is perfect for Ibiza sunsets and sun-kissed terraces.

Continuing to show a unique craft and passion for his music, Erdi Irmak emerges into bright sunlight with his "Nightwalker" EP.

Born out of the renowned, best-selling Yin : Yang label concept, musical discourse is brought to life through the meticulous choices of Tripp Baronner – DJ, curator and full-time member of the Proton team. Presenting “Dialectics,” a monthly show airs on Proton Radio and DI.fm showcasing the finest underground music talent in two contrasting but inextricably linked hours.

Part 1 sees Yin thematically represented while Yang is juxtaposed through Part 2. Intimately interconnected while fluid by design, resident hosts alternate and interchange with guest artists to create a dynamic dialectical discourse.

Born in Tocantins, Lo Margone began her journey as a DJ and music producer in 2022, revealing a strong connection to electronic music since her childhood. Her passion for music is evident, and her work reflects a unique dedication to the art of creating immersive sonic experiences.

Lo Margone is known for her eclectic style, which explores various branches of House music, including Deep House, Organic House, Melodic House, and Minimal/Deep Tech. Her sets create a fusion of organic vibes and sonic textures, projecting exciting and danceable atmospheres that captivate and engage the audience.

Throughout her career, she has shared the stage with well-known artists such as Marian Flow, ANTDOT, Mochakk, TATO, JORD, Doksu, ATTMA, Tonaco, HAAS, Andre Pulse, Sadra, among others.

Looking to the future, Lo Margone is continually innovating and expanding her musical boundaries. Yin and Yang (n.) - the concept of duality forming a whole. A fundamental premise in Chinese philosophy now transposed to the electronic dance industry through the creation of Proton "Editions". Through encyclopaedic knowledge of the 2,000+ strong Proton roster of labels Tripp Baronner has envisioned a new concept of the principle of seemingly polar opposites, coming together as interconnected and independent universal forces - life and death, the dark and the light: one complete entity. 

From a passion for underground progressive house at opposite ends of the audio spectrum - the deep, shadowy atmospheres to the blissful, shimmering melodies, "Yin" and "Yang" were born in an effort to represent this phenomenon in musical form. Each release will provide a single remix of an existing Proton roster track for two inextricably linked labels in the form of a light (Yang) and dark (Yin) edition. Released on the same day, a strong contrast in styles will thus serve to complement each other and nourish the whole.
