Dusk to Dawn depicts a musical journey from sunset to sunrise! In this gently pop-oriented concert ensemble, players are challenged by sensitive dynamics and timing demands.
A highly intricate drumset and  bass guitar part make this piece combat the guidelines of most school ensemble contests. Many different dark and relaxed musical styles are expressed and fluidly transitioned together into a story about the night. All players in the ensemble are in for a jamming musical experience, which is sure to set the mood for any event.

Dusk To Dawn v2 - Percussion Ensemble

A duet, whether musical or a representation of a romantic or friendly relationship, featuring vibraphone and marimba.

The story is timeless: rhythms and melodies from both instruments intertwine, sometimes competing, yet always complementing one another. Like any great relationship, there’s conflict and resolution woven throughout the piece—a musical reflection of real life.

Originally composed for a 5-octave marimba and 4-octave vibraphone, this work also includes a transposed version for a 4.3-octave marimba and 3-octave vibraphone.
