Stones are the witnesses of: There are still deep connections to the archaic stories of our ancestors. We see the same skies, taste the same winds and tell the same stories about who we were and who we will become.

Stepping into the stones’s and sediments perspective: being exposed to the elements for ages and excavated, listening to the meandering tales of mankind.

This week’s project is based on a text by Yoko Ono, originally published in her book Grapefruit60 years ago, back in 1964.

I created a very small Garden in my work on the morning of 18st July 2024, and it bore tiny, edible fruit. 

Many thanks to co-horticulturalist John McCulloch whose Garden husbandry was essential to the harvest.

Vergib mir, denn ich weiß nicht, was ich tue.

My boy had been in the hospital Robert Debré due to the mental pressure of being maliciously bullied and persecuted at school, not by a boy, but by a family. He is 13. It is beyond comprehension.

The following day, he had the strength to return to sport for the first time in 3 months, and I managed to go into the studio to try and find some stress relief through noise. This was the result.

I am not sure how I managed it, but I seem to have captured my inner turmoil, chaos, fear, and desperation. It scares me a bit. But it's there.

The title is in honour of the wonderful people at the Robert Debré hospital in Paris who helped my boy and I that weekend. Thank you

Also for the pianist who appeared and played the most beautiful music, just for me, when I was at my lowest ebb. He was sent to help me in that moment, I am convinced of it.

The track was made using primarily Error Instruments devices: Radio Sputnik, Cloudbusting, Broken Tape 2; some sequencing & VCAs through the modular; and some Riemann Kollection drum samples on the Novation Circuit Tracks.
