Shaykh Bilal is a qualified Islamic Scholar and has completed his A’alimiyyah Degree, studying all major text of Traditional Islamic Sciences covering Quran, Hadeeth, Fiqh and Classical Arabic. He also holds bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Curtain University, Australia & MBA from LUMS, Pakistan. He is currently based in Dubai working as the Regional Director for Business Operations for a multinational company.
He frequently delivers lectures online & in-person with the focus to help his students develop on the path of spirituality and gain closeness to Allah Ta’ala

I’m not in  control, never have been, probably never will.
And I wonder if I’m capable.
How’s it feel to be on your toes; if anybody knows, please tell me.

I’m not there yet – and if I’m honest, I still have a way to go.
And I struggle with the realization
My best shot may not be good enough, & hopeless is not a word I can accept.

And part of me says, “Just give up. You know you don’t have what it takes.
And part of me says, “Just get up. Don’t get burned by your mistakes.
I’m getting buried in my weakness.  Can I ever dig out?  
Strength they say is found in numbers.

I know there’s time, but the time keeps getting shorter every day.
And I’m not about to throw it all in.
My excuses live and die with me, but excuses are just not who I am.

Excuses

Jesus cannot be fooled. We discover this in Luke 20:20-26, when Jesus says that we should render to Caesar what is Caesar's and to God what is God's. He outsmarted the flatterers who would say they followed God but in fact did not give their hearts to God. Jesus saw through the flattery and excuses and made a call on each life to follow God.
